Savannah's premier punk stone dad band is virtually to do information technology again.

Jeff Two-Names and the Born Agains are set for a six-date International World Tour that goes through Boston, but doesn't really leave the continent.

From the beginning, Jeff Storey-Pitts, the two names in question, aka Glowy McNeal, aka Executive Director of Vocals/Chief Atomic number 82 Guitarist, and The Reverend Kevin Veitinger, Deacon of Drums (and an actual reverend), aka Rev. Kev, were dads.

Then they became punk rock gods, with tongues planted firmly in cheeks.

Over the form of the past vi years, Jeff 2-Names and the Born Agains, with McNeal and Rev. Kev at the cadre, have had a few other players effectually them come up and go. In that location'southward been Bass Player; Chef Gabe, CEO of Jeff Two-Names Enterprises Seattle; Dr. Petee, Kloo Horn; Greg Rettig, Hair Inspiration and Chief of Grumpy, Nihilist Quotes; and Justin Barfield, Bass Thespian Prime number (Tallahassee Division).

Most recently, Michael Dr. Physician, Auxiliary Lead Guitarist, aka Dr. Michael Lewis, moved to the northeast. While he's returned for a number of shows, and will be on the upcoming tour, there will be fewer Jeff Two-Names shows in the time to come since his alienation of contract.

"He forgot to read his contract and moved abroad," McNeal said.

The 2018 International World Tour (Plus Boston!), aka The Attack of the Dad Band!, A Jeff-Two Names and the Born Agains Production will open on Dec. thirteen at The Jinx, with Florida's DigDog in support, and continue a couple days later.

"On Mon, the 17th, we travel in my wife'southward Honda Odyssey upwards to Charlotte, Due north.C.," McNeal said. "After an early on rising, some pancakes and coffee, nosotros'll drive from Charlotte to Philadelphia."

"I want waffles," Rev Kev added.

"Waffles unapproved," McNeal said firmly. "Let the tape show."

On Dec. eighteen, they play Philadelphia, followed by a December. 19 show in Brooklyn. On Dec. xx, they state in Boston to play "the just Irish Pub in Boston," O'Brien'southward, before ending the tour in Baltimore on Dec. 21.

Jeff-2 Names volition debut a brand new tour setlist at their December. 13 show at The Jinx that will include McNeal'due south favorite Ramones song, "Judy Is A Punk," and some serious songs.

"Nosotros take different categories of songs," McNeal said. "We have dad songs. There's the pretending to be rock star songs. There's the PT songs. The newer ones are getting a little more than serious. It'due south just the mode the world is going. I don't want to write serious songs. We have to get the earth improving, so I tin go write featherbrained songs."

The DIY dad punks volition too have a new batch of merchandise for sale, that will help fund the tour.

"We don't need a Gofundme, considering have mega merch deals going on all tour," McNeal said. "It should pretty much finance itself. The 2nd office of the split is Jeff Two-Names and the Built-in Agains '(E)at (P)izza' EP. Played by us. The third part of the separate is Jeff 2-Names and the Born Agains 'Pete' EP. Another EP performed past us. We did a three-way split with ourselves."

"Yeah, our two other favorite bands," Rev Kev again added.
